We will discuss your design needs, scope of your project. Your design needs and style preferences. We will also discuss your specific requirements, timeline for the project and budget.
This is an opportunity for us to discuss your project in more detail and complete a walk through of your project. Overall, it’s a collaborative meeting aimed at establishing a foundation for your project and ensuring that we understand your goals. From this meeting we can submit a design proposal for your project.
The design brief is a collaboration between us and the client. We look at samples, colours, fabrics, furniture, lighting base on what we have discussed. We look at layout plans and, on our design, and build we put forward ideas for your extension or loft conversion. We carry out a detailed measure/survey. We need to gather as much information as we can to determine the design concepts will present.
Each project begins with a thorough understanding of the clients hopes and vision for the project. We utilise a combination of floor plans, 3D rendering, mood boards, sample boards to illustrate the design concepts. At this stage if your project involves design and build, we present the architects plans and structural engineer’s findings with your design concepts.Once everything is approved, we move forward to the purchasing and implantation of the designs.
We meet with our team to finalise design plans, check measurements, scheduling of the work. We organise the materials, and anything related that helps the project run seamlessly.
This is when the team gets to work! You are given a timetable and order of work. Each project is different. Design and build will start with first stage of this process. Interiors only will be when our tradesman are on site to make the vision come to life. You will receive your weekly timetable. We supervise the project with regular site visits and keep our clients informed with updates.
This is the final step of the process where the client formally approves the completed design. During this process any final adjustments or snagging may be discussed and once the client and designer are both satisfied, we formally complete your project.
